A Crisis Of Faith is based on what the Lord impressed upon my heart the days, weeks and months after Saralyn’s passing. Even though I was closer to the Lord than I’d ever been, the heaviness of sadness was something I had never experienced.
However, He (did not give me sermons, but rather impressions on my heart through His Spirit and Word) showed me I had to know about the FACT – 1st Pet.4:12, that everyone is either in a crisis, coming out of a crisis or going into a crisis and that He wants to use my crisis to bring me closer to Him. FOUNDATION – Matt.6:33, Christ must be the 1st JOY of my life and my foundation because He will never go away or let me down. FOCUS – Heb.12:2, Keeping my eyes on Christ in the storms of life. FAITH – Heb.11:1, truly Biblical faith. FIGHT – 2nd Cor.12:7,not to be strong but to be weak because His strength is perfected in my weakness. And FRIENDSHIP – John 15:15, With Christ. I had never hurt so bad in my life but through my crisis I came to know Jesus as my best friend.
